The Pencil Nebula
(via seaofwolves)
The universe is both beautiful and terrifying. The universe is full of stars and blackness and chemicals and rocks and life. Have you ever looked up at night and thought about just how horrifyingly tiny you are? You are apart of this glorious universe, apart of its beauty (colors, gases, lights, etc), apart of its depth, apart of its fatal chilliness, and you are insignificantly sized. You are disproportionate in comparison to all that is. And, dare I say, you are (arguably) nothing.
But you do exist, and that’s more than enough in this beautiful and terrifying universe.
