With hashtags like #snowpocalypse, #snOMG and #snowmaggedon, Twitter and Facebook were used to organize a massive snowball fight in D.C. today.

The nation’s capital, experiencing a snowfall that might break records, has mostly ground to a screeching halt, with many roads impassable and a layer of ice underneath the snow causing additional headaches. But that didn’t stop the massive group from convening in the winter weather, and the Dupont Hotel even set up an outdoor bar for snow warriors. (watch video footage at The Inquisitr)

Woke up this morning to this—a reminder that two hours last night only cleared off our steps and the license plate on my car. Doesn’t matter if the car is freed anyway—they haven’t plowed any roads or our parking lot.
